Storage tubes Matrix™ with 2D code, down to -20 °C

Thermo Scientific™ Matrix™ Storage Tubes with 2D Code are optimal for reliable storage of sample volumes between 0.2 to 1.4 ml in 96 format. The tubes are made of medical-grade plastics and have a permanent, high-contrast 2D code that ensures the highest reliability and optimal traceability of active ingredient and genome samples, as well as biological samples.

Secure traceability

     Each tube is permanently marked with a unique, distinctive 2D code on the bottom
     Compatible with Thermo Scientific VisionMate readers
     The tubes can be read into any application or database or integrated using various options.


Space-saving and efficient

     Stackable hinged lid racks in 96-well format save valuable space in your freezer and on the lab bench.
     Hinged lid racks are suitable for use with manual multi-channel pipettes and reduce the risk of contamination because the lid does not touch the laboratory bench even when opened.
     Can also be used for high-throughput applications: rack lids can be opened by the gripper arm of automated systems


Strict quality controls

     Each 2D code is checked for readability, scanned and compared with a complete database of all previously scanned 2D codes to ensure that there are no duplicates across the entire Thermo Scientific Matrix tube range.
     Each tube is tested for leak-proofness
