Filter bag Whirl-Pak®, PE, sterile

All bags have the same filter material. However, these special bags have a third layer of finely perforated polyethylene that filters out the solids in the sample when the bag is used in a homogenizer blender. This makes pipetting the sample easier. The pore diameter in the filter layer is 0.33 mm, with 285 holes per square centimeter. The filter is welded to the bag sides and bottom so that the sample can be deposited in one side or the other. The liquid is passed through the filter to the other side, but the solids remain behind.
