Filter device DURAN®

The DURAN® filter device is made of high-quality borosilicate glass. In addition to the glass, the medium only comes into chemical contact with PTFE. Therefore, the filter device can be used almost universally with regard to the chemicals to be filtered. Thanks to the PTFE plate holder, glass filter plates with different porosities can also be used in addition to the slotted sieve plate. This results in a wide range of applications for filtration with filter paper, membrane filters (47 mm) or just glass filters. Due to the available porosities between 10 µm - 160 µm, analytical filtrations can also be carried out in addition to coarse and fine filtrations. The filter device is also suitable for the filtration of HPLC media, for testing for bacterial contamination, residue analysis and the purification of other media.
