Phase separation paper 1PS, round filter

A silicone-impregnated, water-repellent paper that can be used to separate water and immiscible organic solvents. The aqueous phase is retained and the organic phase passes through the paper. Retains solid particles. Can be used either in a single layer with suction not exceeding 70 mm Hg or folded square in a conical glass funnel.
Note: This paper contains a small amount of a tin complex catalyst. The use of this paper is therefore not recommended if this complex would cause interference - for example when using dithizone (diphenylthiocarbazone) reagent.
