Blue. Thanks to the long, ergonomically shaped, stable handle and a pointed blade, it is possible to pierce directly into containers such as paper or plastic bags with this disposable product. The food spatula is ideal for sampling powders, granules and pastes. Due to the blue color, which does not occur naturally in food, spatulas or parts of them that end up in production can be identified very quickly and easily during visual inspection. Detectable spatulas have a special additive added to the product material that enables identification using metal detectors or X-rays. This means that the spatulas, even though they are made of plastic, can be sorted out using the usual foreign body control systems.
