Double-walled wide-mouth laboratory bottles, GLS 80®, DURAN®, with screw cap

The double-walled DURAN® wide-mouth bottle GLS 80® has an integrated glass jacket for insulation. Warm or cold liquids can be circulated through the jacket to regulate the temperature in this DURAN® screw cap bottle.

Areas of application

     Use as a simple and inexpensive chemostat or bioreactor with a double jacket for cell cultures
     Reaction vessel for temperature-controlled reactions such as enzyme digestion
     Simple continuous flow stirred reactor system with optional GLS 80® closure component
     Thermostatic vessel for storing liquids or liquids with high viscosity at a constant temperature; practical when working with endo- or exothermic reactions
     Great cold trap or cooler when used with dry ice in the inner container


Characteristics

     Can be used in a wide temperature range from -40 to 120° C
     Made from proven DURAN® borosilicate glass 3.3
     All components are fully autoclavable
     Available in two practical sizes: 500 and 1000 ml
     Compatible with all GLS 80® wide-mouth connection systems for adding or withdrawing liquid during processing
