Wide-mouth baffle bottles GLS 80®, DURAN®, with screw cap

The wide-mouth baffle bottle has three vertical baffles on the inner walls that interrupt radial vortex movement. The baffles increase vertical circulation and thus enable more efficient and homogeneous mixing. Furthermore, the formation of a central vortex is suppressed and there are fewer areas in which no mixing occurs.

     Compatible with the DURAN® GLS 80® stirred reactors and other magnetic stirrers
     Made from DURAN® borosilicate glass 3.3
     Fully autoclavable
     The generous inner diameter of the GLS 80® wide neck of 65 mm allows easy access to the bottle contents
     The baffles are embedded in the side walls of the glass and can be easily cleaned thanks to their continuous, smooth surface
     Compatible with all GLS 80® wide-mouth connection systems, meaning easy addition or removal of liquid during the mixing process
     The volume of the liquid contained can be easily read using the printed scale
